Swachh Virasat Abhiyan Transforming Heritage, Enhancing Lives

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Swachh Bharat Mission Urban Uttar Pradesh has received the prestigious HUDCO Award 2022-2023 for Best Practices in Improving the Living Environment. The award, presented by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, was accepted by State Mission Director Neha Sharma during a ceremony in New Delhi. The campaign, called Swachh Virasat Abhiyan, involved 11 lakh people and focused on cleaning 75 tourist and historical sites in the state. The initiative utilized various activities, such as Nukkad Natak and Plog Runs, to engage the public in cleaning efforts. After rigorous evaluation, the campaign was selected for the HUDCO Award, which recognized its success in enhancing the living environment.
