CM Yogi lays foundation for 18 projects worth Rs 10,000 crore to boost infrastructure and investment possibilities in eastern UP.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurated and laid the foundation of 18 road projects worth Rs 10,000 crore to improve road connectivity in several districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh; these projects, which include the construction and inauguration of 12 and 6 road projects respectively are part of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). In his speech, CM Yogi emphasized that strong infrastructure development is attracting massive investments in the state. He credited PM Modi and Nitin Gadkari for their contribution to building a strong network of road infrastructure across the country. The region of eastern UP is an important stop for international Buddhist tourism and connecting Kapilvastu and Shravasti to Kushinagar is an important project. Gadkari also made an innovative experiment of linking the Ramayana period with heritage and four-laned the Ramjanaki Marg from Ayodhya to Sitamarhi, Janakpur.
