UP Burgeoning Future with EV Manufacturing Units

The Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh is taking steps to boost the manufacturing of electric vehicles EVs in the state by offering incentives and subsidies to investors. The EV Manufacturing and Mobility Policy outlines provisions for financial incentives related to skill development, including subsidies for companies investing in EV manufacturing and separate incentives for employee training.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has urged companies to contribute to skill development, assuring government support. The policy specifies that subsidies will be provided after the commencement of commercial production and within the limits set by the EV policy. Several companies, including Tauschen International Ltd., have already signed MoUs for significant investments in EV manufacturing.
