Investments three times higher than set target

Global Investors Summit GIS 2023 in Uttar Pradesh has received investments worth 3 lakh crore from 53 districts 10 states and 4 countries. These investments three times higher than the set target are expected to create around nine lakh jobs for the youth.

Foreign investments of 90,000 crore have been secured from countries such as the US Hong Kong Singapore and the UAE. Additionally, investments worth 1.53 lakh crore have been received from other states in India.

The investments span various sectors including health hospitality logistics parks warehouses and industrial units. The Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority UPSIDA has prepared a land bank of over 15,000 acres and is expediting the allocation process for investors. Investor meetings in several districts have yielded positive results with significant investment proposals received. The CEO of UPSIDA assures full cooperation to ensure a smooth investment process.
