UP Boosting Textile Sector generating employment

The Uttar Pradesh government headed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has established a significant platform for the state youth to find employment in the textile industry. It is anticipated that five lakh new job opportunities will be created in the textile sector. The Global Investors Summit GIS received 1092 proposals in the textiles sector with an investment of ₹ 54,710 crore. The textiles sector is among the top 10 in investment along with higher education electronics manufacturing industrial parks logistics real estate and tourism. UP offers a sizable market to investors with a population of 25 crore. The Central Government has approved the textile park on 1,000 acres which will cost around ₹1200 crore.
