The daughters of Uttar Pradesh get a new light of hope getting ample support for a better future from CM Yogi Adityanath Ji. Around 2.25 daughters have been married in the last 6 years with ₹ 771 crore provided to 3,85,514 beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivaah Yojana. Under this scheme wedding programs are conducted according to the rituals being practiced in various communities and religions. Another objective of the scheme is to abolish unwanted extravagance in wedding ceremonies. The government has covered families of all communities having an annual income of ₹ 2,00,000 from all sources under this scheme. The re-marriage of widows abandoned and divorced women are also covered. This scheme enables the government to deposit an amount of ₹35,000 in the bank account of the bride to ensure happiness and better establishment of the household and required materials for the wedding like apparel ornaments utensils etc. are provided to the couple.
